Did you miss me?

Well, I'm still here. Pregnant and alive somewhere amid the piles of boxes and junk that we call our stuff. We just got our cable and internet hooked up today. It was a nice break from "real" TV and the internet. But I'm glad to be back to 2010.

No baby yet. As of this morning at my Doctor's appointment, I was dilated 2-3 cm and effaced NONE. Yes, NONE. I love my cervix.

We are officially moved out of the "old" house and into the "new" house, which we are renting. However, we have NOT closed on the old house and hope that it happens sometime this week.

Otherwise, we are just doing life as normal. Well, as normal as life gets with 5 children aged 5.5 years and younger, with #6 due any moment now.

You know, normal, simple life. How are all of YOU? Chances are I won't have the time to read and catch up on your blogs. But I've missed you all and reading about your lives.

Hopefully, I'll be posting soon about the new baby. Don't hold your breath though. I know I'm not. I'd love to blog more but people are waking up from naps and requiring my attention. I hope to post quite a few things about the ways that God has blessed us in the last few weeks.

Some of them, actually most of them, are mind boggling. I can't wait to tell you all about it.

  1. Well I was a little sad to see your post just because I was hoping a lack of posting equaled baby. I am happy to hear you are hanging in there. Can't wait to hear about all the blessings

  2. Well I am totally behind b/c of our recent trip, but I am very irritated for you that your cervix has thus far been uncooperative. Very rude.

  4. I don't believe I have ever commented here before, but I feel it is time to introduce myself.

I am a seventeen year old high school student who started following your blog after reading about Elizabeth's baptism to find out what happens between her and Jesus. That girl and her God are going places! All your kids are adorable and sound hilarious and I'm glad I discovered your blog.

My blog about my (Jewish) religion is here: carriedinhishands.blogspot.com

Anyway, just thought I'd say hello!

  7. i keep praying for you and your baby. i was three days 'over due' with amelya before i was induced. those were three very.long.days. at the end they're all long days though aren't they!?

i love hearing about all god's blessings on you and your family. i know it's because you're family also blesses people and god's 'returning the favor'. it's cool to see!!

i'm super excited to find out baby's name. who i just called baby e. but technically it IS so i wasn't wrong. :0) since you may have missed my posting...we're having a girl. :0) yay!!

which brings me to a question...what are your sleeping arangements? boys and girls split? i know that you have more equally showing of boys and girls. but i was just wondering 'how' you did it. but you don't have to answer me now. because you may be busy with you know...'other things'...perhaps HAVING the baby. that'd be great. :0)

i've rambled enough. maybe even put you to sleep.

    praying!!
