I think somewhere, woven into the DNA of my children, there are two unspoken truths.

My girls believe that before any real fun can be had with a babydoll, they
must be naked (or as naked as you are able to make them).

Then once the clothing is as removed as your little fingers will allow, you must "mommy" them to the point of breaking them.
In turn,

my boys have the ability to know exactly where every car in our house is located.

In addition, they know
exactly how to make car noises for as long as their little lungs can hold breath. Then they repeat this noise approximately 3,729 times.
(Just so you know, when I took these pictures Aaron and Olivia were playing in the kitchen at the same time. Olivia with her baby and Aaron with his car. It was, perhaps, the most precious thing I'd seen all week.)
CUTE pictures!
ReplyDeleteI think Olivia and Layla would have quite the time with babies--Layla loves to dress and diaper them but gets beyond frustrated getting them undressed. Sounds like we need a play date!
I'll go ahead and warn you that the car noises continue for many years! Jake still makes car noises and he is 6. Of course, he also loves to make his cars fly off of the furniture too!
ReplyDeletewhat kind of camera do you use?
ReplyDeleteoh and my red hair is on my blog now. <3
They are getting soooooo big! The car thing is so true. Mason may have 476 of them, but he wants the ONE that he left at so and so's house every time! They have their favorites and they know what they do with them. All I know is that when I step on one in the dark of the night, I don't think nice things. I miss those kids...and you!
ReplyDeleteHA HA - so true
