Party Pics

When Elizabeth turned two, we started the tradition of having 2 parties for each of her birthdays. The first party is a friend party where friends bring donations to a charity. The second party is a family party. Our entire family gets together, grandparents, great-grandparents and immediate family, and we do the traditional birthday thing with opening presents. Below are some pictures from both parties. We had a fun weekend, filled with celebration of Elizabeth's 4 years in our family.

Ashlee and PawPaw inside the parachute

Elizabeth is a little OCD, it comes out and the funniest times

Elizabeth got to demonstrate each of the activities at the gym.
I think this was her favorite part of the party.

All in all there were 21 children. I was a little concerned that it would be too much, but these kids all have such awesome parents and they all were so well behaved. It was a blast!

On Sunday, Elizabeth's actual birthday, we had our family party at my Mom's house. My mom made the MOST AWESOME cake. I was so impressed, and Elizabeth LOVED it!

Yes, that's a real Barbie, and no, she didn't use a kit

Our first picture as a family of 6

"Happy Birthday to You"
Please pardon the horrible singing, clearly
our family isn't musically talented.

  1. So, I love the expression on Luke's face in the family photo! I have seen that look on Noah's face a lot lately :-)

Looks like Elizabeth had a very special Birthday !

  2. What a seriously adorable daughter you have... two of them actually. Also, I tried to make my own Barbie cake. Now I have a melted naked barbie caked to the bottom of my oven....please help.

  3. It looks like a great birthday! Elizabeth is very blessed to have great parents and grandparents. Mimi did a great job on the cake! I wish I had been there for a piece.

BTW, Mason watched the video and said "That's my best fri-yend."
