Word on the street (and from my awesome husband) is that Luke and the kids are doing remarkably well. School is being done, playdates are being had and so far everyone is happy, healthy and missing Mommy.
I'm headed off to my high school Alma Mater tonight for a high school football game. I'm both excited and a little apprehensive. If you've read my blog for long you know that I don't have the fondest memories of high school. If you've not been around here for long and you are interested, click on the old photo of Luke and I in my left sidebar under The Story of Us to get somewhat caught up.
Tomorrow, my sister and I are heading up to my old college campus to meet up with a great friend from college. I'm having a great time catching up with family, my BFF and friends, but I miss my man and kids like CRAZY.
Y'all have a good weekend.
hope you are having a blessed time!
ReplyDeleteI can verify that all the kids are still present and in one sweet little piece--I kinda sorta wanted to take Ashley home with me yesterday--she is a funny one!
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to find my husband tonight...neither can Beth, Carmen or Kim...HUM...perhaps I should check your house :-) I guess its safe to say that Luke is being well taken care of too...I think...
Hope you are having a good time.
ReplyDeleteIt will fly by and you'll be back home again lap overflowing with babies again soon :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
hugs,
Holly
I am so glad that you are having a great time! See you when you get back! Bailey
ReplyDeleteummm. excuse me- is this the same girl who HATE high school football games? Is this the same girl who made me pay $5 to go in the "back door" for EDHS football game just to see a band concert? Oh wait- I made YOU go and you made ME go in the back door to only stay for 5 minutes.
ReplyDeleteseriously though- glad you are having a blast. I love you and miss you too!
Oh- and if we were home I'm sure my hubby would be lost as well... hmmmmm
I hear ya with the football game and not being fond of highschool memories
ReplyDeleteWe have a few people on Facebook trying to pull together a bunch of us for a football game reunion...i'm like, "UH, no thanks"!
I hated high school then, i certainly DON'T wanna re-live it and i don't particularly care to see everyone who hated me then and probably think i'm a screwed up hyprocrite, "religious" person now!
Oy vey!
Loved your das not funny friday post, it was great!
