Watched my children laugh, giggle, play, and run in our freshly mowed yard, and basically get along the entire time.
Saw Baby Girl roll from her back to her tummy, all by herself, for the very first time.
Put kids in time out, gave spankings, bandaids, hugs, kisses and tickles. And more of the latter rather than the former.
Changed poopy diapers, wiped noses and washed a load of laundry.
Let my husband bring home dinner.
Thought about how much my Father loves me, even when I make huge mistakes.
Cuddled crying babies and wiped away tears and spit up.
Giggled with my (almost) 12 month old, over nothing.
Let the kids eat cherrios and candy for snack.
Saw one child console another child who was crying. It made me proud.
Treasured every moment of being a mother.
(Ok, you got me. I actually did all this on Tuesday.)
LOL! i bet you'll do it all over again today. and tomorrow. and a few tomorrows after that!

What a full days work and so sweetly put. :-D
ReplyDeleteAm I strange for saying that sounds like a perfect day--especially the bit about the kisses and hugs outweighing the number of spankings and time outs :-)
