Holy Crap!

My Dad just called and wants me to do a 5K run/walk with him on Saturday. Guess I should probably run/jalk a few times this week! I only jalked once last week, although I must say the desire is still there and for me that's HUGE! I'll probably end up walking most of the 5K, but maybe just being around other people running will be an inspiration.

Don't worry, I won't over-do it (if you wondered that then you don't know me at all). Also, sometimes my Dad can have really great ideas that never come to fruition. Humm....sounds like someone else I know.

Guess we'll see...

  1. SO FUN! 5k's are the best length! Long enough to feel like and accomplishment but short enough to feel like an atainable goal. Take lots of pics!

  2. You can do it!!!
If that desire is still there, then there's certainly a way. (i actually think it goes "if there's a will, there's a way")

anyway you say it...i have faith that you'll be able to do it.

  7. Wow... 5 miles. That's gonna take forever. I know gas is high, but I would just drive it. Maybe pick up a biscuit on the way to the finish line.

  8. You will do great!! Once you cross the finish line, you'll be addicted to running. There's something about an actual "race" that makes you want to set more running goals. Good luck...we look forward to the results blog.

  9. You'll do great! I'm laughing about the great ideas that never come to fruition. So, how many bows have you made? I'm just as bad.
